Available in pilot

This workflow is available in controlled early access. Follow the documented safeguards and keep a manual fallback.

Before you start

  • Owner or manager access to a configured pilot school.
  • Enough current lead, trial, attendance, member, event, or billing-status records to produce useful signals.
  • A named person responsible for reviewing and completing—not merely opening—the assigned work.
1

Review Today’s Focus

Open Growth Center. Today’s Focus prioritizes current school records such as follow-up work, quiet members, trials, renewals, and other Money Move signals. It does not change the underlying member or financial record.

Open the supporting record before acting. Assign the move, snooze it to a deliberate date, mark it complete with an outcome, or dismiss it with a reason. Every choice remains visible in history.

Watch out: A signal is a prompt to review—not proof of a cancellation, recovered payment, conversion, or promised result.
2

Run the Nine Money Moves each month

Use the monthly cycle to review payments, attendance, leads, trials, renewals, capacity, advocacy, events, and the school scorecard. Assign each move to the person who can actually finish it.

Complete a move only after the real-world work is done and the source record supports the result. Reopen a move when new information changes the conclusion.

Review the public Money Move library →
Tip: Schedule a short owner/manager review at the same time each month so the checklist becomes an operating rhythm rather than another forgotten report.
3

Activate an Event-in-a-Box playbook

Choose the planning guide that matches the school goal, confirm one linked-event date and time, timezone, audience description, displayed price, total linked-event capacity, and optional paid-ad approval ceiling, then activate it. Dojo Wizard creates that one event plus ten generic snapshotted campaign drafts and operating tasks.

For Bring-a-Friend Week, Holiday Camp, and Referral Challenge, the date is only the linked-event and campaign-planning anchor. Activation does not select recurring classes, create a promotion date range, register public guests, or manage capacity across several classes or sessions.

Review each draft, replace placeholders, approve it internally, and use the appropriate external tool to publish or send. Complete or skip each task with a reason so the next event has a useful record.

Open Event-in-a-Box →
Watch out: Activation does not send a message, publish a post, place an ad, spend the ceiling, collect an event payment, or prove revenue. Approval is an internal record, not external delivery.

Keep price and automation boundaries visible

Growth Center is available for private-pilot validation but is not purchasable or charged today. Its proposed founding-customer target is $59 per month, separate from the proposed $49–$199 core software pricing.

Production messaging, AI or other metered providers, and paid-ad spend remain separate. The school controls every external communication, expense, and financial decision.

Troubleshooting

If something looks wrong

Why does Today’s Focus not match what happened off-platform?

The queue reads current Dojo Wizard records. Update or annotate the source member, lead, attendance, event, or billing-status record, then complete or dismiss the move with the real outcome.

Why did an approved campaign task not send or publish?

Approval is intentionally internal. Copy the approved material into the school’s consented email, text, social, or ad tool and record completion after the external action is verified.

What is the difference between a regular Event and a Campaign?

A regular Event is one dated member roster with an optional registration cutoff, displayed price, and total capacity. A Campaign creates that same single Event plus ten internal drafts and tasks. It does not create a public guest funnel, send, publish, place an ad, spend, or collect payment.

For Bring-a-Friend Week, does the start time cover every class?

No. It is one specific linked-event start and the anchor used for draft deadlines. Capacity is the total registrations on that one linked Event—not friends per class or campaign-wide participation. Leave it blank for a multi-class promotion and manage each class limit separately.

What paid-ad budget should I enter?

There is no universal recommendation. Use $0 for an organic campaign. A planning example is 7 days × $10 per day = a $70 internal cap, but that arithmetic is not a performance forecast or authorization to spend.
